A New Standard for Student Lettings in Lancaster in 2026

Why we’re launching Lancaster Student Housing for 2026 and how we’re setting a higher standard for student lettings in the city.

A New Standard for Student Lettings in Lancaster in 2026

Lancaster Student Housing has been created to do one thing properly: run student homes in Lancaster with care, clarity and fairness for both landlords and students.

Lancaster is a strong university city. Demand for student accommodation remains high year after year, yet the experience on both sides of the market has not always kept pace. Too often, landlords are paying high fees without seeing the value, while students are left dealing with slow communication and inconsistent standards.

We believe it can be done better.

That belief is what led to the launch of Lancaster Student Housing, ahead of the September 2026 academic year.

Built on Experience, Not Assumptions

Lancaster Student Housing is founded by people who know the city and the student housing market inside out.

Between us, we bring decades of experience in property ownership, student lettings, compliance, operations and local market knowledge. We are also backed by deep digital and marketing expertise, ensuring properties are presented properly and reach the right tenants at the right time.

This is not a national chain or a short term venture. We are based in Lancaster, operating from the lower floor of our partner company’s city centre office, and building a service designed specifically for this market.

Before our first academic year has even begun, we have already signed over 100 properties. That level of early growth reflects strong demand from landlords looking for a more straightforward and accountable approach.

A Fairer Fee Structure for Landlords

Our landlord management fee is 8 percent, one of the lowest available in Lancaster.

We have set our pricing this way deliberately. Student housing should be profitable for landlords, not weighed down by unnecessary costs. Our model focuses on efficiency, clear communication and hands on management, rather than layers of administration.

Landlords retain more of their rental income while still receiving a full management service that covers marketing, tenant sourcing, tenancy setup and ongoing support.

A Better Experience for Students

Students deserve well managed homes and clear communication, especially during some of the most important years of their lives.

Our service is designed to remove friction from the rental process. Properties are marketed accurately, issues are handled promptly, and students know who to speak to when they need help.

By improving the experience for students, we also protect landlords’ investments. Well supported tenants stay longer, look after homes better and create fewer problems over the course of a tenancy.

Looking Ahead to September 2026

Lancaster Student Housing is being built carefully and deliberately. We are investing in systems, people and processes before our first intake, rather than reacting once tenancies are already underway.

Our aim is not to be the biggest student accommodation provider in Lancaster. It is to be one of the most reliable.

As we move towards our first academic year in 2026, our focus remains the same: better managed homes, fair fees for landlords, and a more straightforward experience for students.

That is the standard we are setting for student housing in Lancaster.
