About Lancaster Student Housing
We’re not just another letting agency. We’re a new kind of platform built by people who’ve lived and rented in Lancaster for years. Our goal is simple: make student renting fair, transparent, and stress-free for everyone involved.
Lancaster Student Housing is part of the Student Housing Lancaster group, which has been letting student homes in the city for over 20 years. That means the houses we list come from landlords we already know, and the team looking after them is based here rather than somewhere else in the country. You can read more about the wider group at studenthousinglancaster.co.uk.

Our valuesThe values that drive everything we do
We believe finding a student home should be simple, honest, and human. No hidden fees, no pushy sales. Just good people helping students find somewhere to live.
Transparency
We keep it clear and simple. No hidden fees, no long-winded contracts, just straight answers and fair prices.
Care
Every home we list is properly looked after, and every student gets treated like a person, not a reference number.
Accountability
If something's wrong, we sort it. No excuses, no silence, just a quick fix and a follow-up.
Communication
We don't hide behind emails. You'll always know what's happening and who to talk to.
Our missionOur mission is to make student renting fair and stress-free
We started Lancaster Student Housing after seeing both sides of the game, as both a long-time Lancaster landlord, and as a student renting in the city.
Our founders saw how most agencies made things harder than they needed to be: slow replies, hidden fees, and little care for the people actually living in the houses.
We decided to do things differently.
At Lancaster Student Housing, students get homes they can rely on, and landlords get a hands-off service they can trust.
